Trying to get a leg up

Well, it is true, when you think nobody wants to talk to you just miss a payment or two! We have been taking some new strides to getting ourselves out of debt, and it is hard to make some changes. We hope to see some real progress by the end of the year, and be debt free except for the house in three years. It will take some major work and probably a few boxes of tissues - mainly for me!

Otherwise things are going well. Work has been a bit of a challenge as usual, but at least I have been having some good numbers! I have been destroying my sales from last year, and I am set to pretty much coast for the last two weeks of the first quarter and still hit my budget number and get my bonus. The tricky part is hitting the monthly bonus. They will pick one of the three months and inflate the number so it is hard to hit. That is how they keep from giving you all three monthly bonuses as well as the quarter bonus. I just need to have a good week this week and I think I have all three and the Qtr. all wrapped up.

Kids are doing well now that the latest round of winter crud has finally left the building. I have been just plowing through it all and managing somehow not to get it. I am afraid that when I do get it I will pay dearly.

I just heard from my Dad that the truck I was hoping to bid on is officially up for auction. I am really praying that God will work this out. I have been trying to get myself ready for the possibility that I will be driving a Ford, but I have to remember that God promises to meet my needs not necessarily me desires. A wine colored 3/4 ton Chevy extended cab would fill the desires pretty well!
